I was responsible for texturing most of the Starbase project; while the above model was created by a team member (Sebastian Hyde), these textures are my original work. Though not a true racing game, I drew inspiration for Starbase's ship designs from traditional race cars, dragsters, and 1960's muscle cars.
The above ship is the antagonist in the Starbase project; it is still modeled after a traditional race car, but with muted tones, offering a more sinister impression compared to its more vibrant counterpart.
This ship's concept and design are my original work from the Starbase project; it's the Mothership for the enemy faction. Through both textures and modeling, we intended to communicate impressive size and power, while still maintaining design synchronicity throughout the faction.
